Hit the Road Dude AI Troubleshooting: Uploads, Mouths, Paws and Downloads

Oct 19, 2026

Find the right next step for a failed photo upload, a processing task, changed likeness, poor lip sync or an unavailable MP4 without blindly paying for another render.

Table of Contents

First separate a task that has not finished from a finished video you want to improve. A processing message, a delivery problem and an awkward paw call for different actions. Check your existing task before starting another paid generation.

My photo will not upload

The current uploader accepts JPG, PNG and WebP up to 10 MB. It checks both the declared type and file bytes. Renaming photo.heic to photo.jpg does not convert it.

  1. Export the photo as a real JPG, PNG or WebP in your photo app or editor.
  2. Check its file size. If necessary, export a smaller copy while keeping the face or pet clear.
  3. Select it again in the generator. A local preview alone does not mean it has uploaded.
  4. If the message says uploads are disabled or generation is being configured, wait for service availability. A different photo will not enable the service.

The site checks credits before uploading for generation. If the balance is short, choose a pack only if you want to continue. If checkout is shown in test mode, follow the displayed test-mode instructions rather than assuming a real-money purchase occurred.

It is still processing, or I closed the tab

Sign back into the same account, open the generator, then open My videos. Find the existing item and use Check progress for an unfinished task. Successful items have their own player and Download MP4 link.

The current interface loads recent tasks and can resume checking an unfinished task after a reload. That helps recover the existing work; it is not a promise that every network interruption will resolve automatically or within a fixed number of minutes.

“Submission needs review”

A network interruption can happen after a video provider accepts a job. The site keeps that uncertain submission, which may need operator review. There is currently no self-service recovery control or verified contact channel provided here. Retain the existing task, return to the same account's My videos and check for status changes. Do not resubmit or start another paid task while the submission is unresolved; a resolution time is not guaranteed.

“Video was generated. Retrying delivery…”

Generation has completed, but the site has not finished retrieving and storing the MP4. The workflow retries delivery of the same job without another generation charge. If it reaches a message that delivery needs review, the task may need operator intervention. Keep the original item and check it in My videos for state changes. This page cannot offer a self-service repair or a verified contact channel. Do not start another paid generation to recover this file.

“Generation failed. Credits returned.”

This is the confirmed failure path. Check your refreshed balance before deciding whether to make a new video. A failed generation, a completed but imperfect clip, a delivery issue and a cash refund are different things. This guide does not promise a cash refund for every unsatisfactory output.

The face or pet does not look like my photo

Compare the source photo with three moments: the beginning, the strongest head turn and the ending. This reveals whether the subject changes during motion or whether the initial interpretation is already different.

CheckWhat to look for
One intended subjectThe photo clearly identifies who belongs in the driver's seat
Visible distinguishing featuresFace shape, hair, muzzle, ears, fur markings or collar are readable
ObstructionGlasses, costume, deep shadow or foreground objects hide important details
Final movementIdentity changes when the subject turns or gestures

Using a clearer single-subject photo is a reasonable preparation change, not a proven fix for every likeness problem. A new render is still a new paid generation under the current displayed terms. Inspect the pet guide before choosing another photo.

My dog has human hands or an awkward paw

Pause at the window edge and at the largest gesture. Separate an unusual pose from an extra limb, fingers, an object held like a person, or a paw passing through the door.

The current scene direction asks a pet to keep its own appearance and use paws. That request is not a guarantee. We have one accepted Labrador sample; we have not published a controlled before-and-after study proving a particular photo change removes human hands.

AI Rap Duo describes a different reference-based pet approach, including its own hand problem and pet reference. That is useful evidence that the production method matters, but its reported fix cannot be assumed to apply to our one-photo workflow. Compare actual examples in the tool guide if exact animal anatomy is your deciding requirement.

The mouth moves on the visitor's line

Listen once with your eyes closed to identify the speakers. Then watch the driver's mouth during the off-camera answer. If the driver appears to deliver both parts, this is a speaking-order problem. If the right speaker moves but words drift out of time, it is a synchronization problem.

Adding a sound does not redraw the mouth. Raising playback resolution does not change the speaking order. Use the audio and lip-sync guide to distinguish those cases before spending on another render or editor.

The MP4 will not download or appears missing on my phone

  1. Use the successful task's Download MP4 link while signed in to the account that created it.
  2. If your session expired, sign in again and reopen that item from My videos.
  3. Check the browser's downloads and your device's Files or Downloads app. A downloaded video may not appear automatically in your photo library.
  4. If the existing task still cannot deliver the file, retain it and note the status, approximate time, device and browser. Return to the same account's My videos to check for changes rather than starting another paid task. Keep passwords and private signed links out of public posts.

The generated MP4 route is account-protected. It is not a public sharing URL. For saving and uploading the actual file, follow the phone and TikTok guide.

What should I keep while the task is unresolved?

Keep the approximate creation time, visible task status, any available task identifier, device/browser and relevant error wording. Note whether the problem is upload, processing, delivery, playback or the finished clip's content. These details preserve the task's history if an operator reviews it later; they do not trigger a review or guarantee a recovery time. Check the existing item for changes, and keep account credentials and private links out of public messages.

Once the existing task is resolved, use the complete guide and the photo picker if you choose to make a separate clip. A new attempt should be a deliberate choice with the displayed credit cost understood, not the default response to every error.
